ROPE CLEATS

Auto-release cleat CL257

For rope 4-6 mm.
The cleat locks rudder downhaul ropes securely, and will flip up automatically to release the rope if the blade hits an obstacle or the bottom. No parts to lose and nothing to replace; easy to reset or adjust for different loads, even out on the water. The release load is easily adjusted with a cross-head screwdriver, from 20 kg (minimum setting) to 240 kg (maximum setting).
• Acetal moulded base, shaped to fit all tillers.
• Mounting in any position, with pop rivets, wood or machine screws.
• Cleat is cast in aluminium, to handle high loads without deforming or distorting.
