Navigation lights

Very clever fixation system: a small and compact clip, that does not stick out when light is not mounted, avoids ropes or sheets to get caught; light can thus be set anywhere.

Compact navigation light with an integrated reflector. Patented.
Lighting lifetime is longer: from 60 to 80 hours. They are waterproof and operated by simply rotating the upper part of the light.
Operated by 1.5 V battery (LR20 type).

No special tools required to change bulb.
The location of the bulb and the construction of the upper part of the light protect connections against electrolysis.

LED bulbs

•Plastimo LED bulbs are certified by French Bureau Veritas for a visible distance of 2 or 3 nautical miles (NM). Ideal for navigation lights meeting the IMO COLREG 72 standards. The 3 NM model ref 56037 also complies with MCA international standard.
All navigation lights on recreational boats below 20 m must be visible from 2 NM, except for the masthead light on 12 to 20 m boats (3 NM visibility required).
•Very low consumption : up to 10 times less than conventional bulbs (1 mooring light draws less than 1 Amp/hour during a full night).
•Shock resistance and extra long service life (50.000 hours).
•The 3 NM bulb ref. 56037 features a regulator which provides consistent illumination even under severe voltage fluctuations.
